Creamy Chocolate Quinoa Porridge



Ingredients:

  • ½ cup quinoa flakes

  • 1 cup soy milk (calcium-fortified

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds

  • 1 medium banana chopped (1/2 in mixture, 1/2 to top)

  • A few pitted dates for sweetness or 1 tbsp maple syrup


To top:

  • Blueberries

  • 1/2 of the sliced banana

  • 1 tbsp natural nut butter



Method:

  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Cook until creamy, stirring occasionally.

  3. Remove from heat and top with blueberries and a natural nut butter.
