A tasty little weekend treat, that’s still filled with goodness.
2 cups rolled oats
½ cup natural peanut butter
¾ cup pitted dates, chopped
1 cup mashed bananas
2 tbsp ground flax
1 tbsp vanilla extrac
⅓ cup cacao powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
In a small bowl, add flax and 6 tbsp of water. Mix then set aside.
In another bowl, add dates and cover with hot water. Let sit for 5 minutes then drain water.
In a food processor combine mashed bananas, peanut butter, dates, flax, cacao powder and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Transfer to a large mixing bowl and combine all other ingredients. Mix evenly then pour into a baking tray.
Pop in the oven on (180deg celsius) to cook for approximately 20 minutes.
