Healthy Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake

Try out this healthy number next time you're craving a chocolate-y treat.


Ingredients:

  • 5 pitted dates, chopped

  • 4 tbsp hot water

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 ripe banana

  • ⅛ tsp baking soda

  • ½ cup ground oats

  • ½ cup soy milk

Method:

  1. Add chopped dates to mug and cover with hot water, let sit for a few minutes to soften.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. Place in microwave for 1-2 minutes or until cooked.

  4. Top with your favourite natural nut butter and enjoy!
