Since it is from plant sources which are initially in the form of a vitamin A precursor; beta carotene. It is not of any concern as the conversion of beta carotene is regulated by the status of Vitamin A within the body.
Conversely, preformed vitamin A can and is only obtained in its readily available form from animal sources.
A daily upper limit applies for Vitamin A and excessive intakes could cause acute and chronic toxicities (depending on intake) and further providing adverse health effects🤯
Beta carotene on the other hand is of low toxicity and does not need a daily upper limit. ✅
